Drinking from the Holy River - Mitchell Kanashkevich
The level of pollution in the holy rivers of India is sometimes a few thousand times the amount that a human can intake. Somehow the devout manage to drink the polluted water and not get seriously sick. It’s one of those Indian mysteries.
Here a Sadhu is drinking out of a slightly less polluted river - the Narmada (less polluted in comparison to the Ganges and the Yamuna).
